二年級拼音練習 - IG 家族 The -ig Family

二年級小朋友的第三個拼音家族是 -ig family (-ig 家族）。

我們一起讀拼音繪本 Posy the Pig（Scholastic Fun With Phonics 系列繪本）。
還玩 Starfall 上的 -ig 拼音小遊戲（點這裡去玩一玩）。


下面還有段動畫，可以讓小朋友更熟悉 -ig 家族的成員喔！

Four Seasons in a Year 四季之歌

在四季分明的國家，季節的變化常讓人忍不住要讚嘆大自然的奇妙。
可惜處在亞熱帶地區的台灣，我們較難領略季節變化之美。

這裡有一首歌，可以看看四季分明的地方，不同季節各有什麼好玩的事喔。

這首歌也很適合拿來玩搶答遊戲。
我會先玩過遊戲，再聽歌。

每道題目都先以　I'm thinking of a season　開頭

再說出以下句子，讓小朋友搶答季節：

In this season, we play with snowman and ice

In this season, we celebrate the Christmas holiday.
In this season, lots of new flowers are blooming.
In this season, there is a long vacation that I really like.
In this season, children like to play outside in the swimming pool.
In this season, I go to the beach a lot.

The Giving Tree 愛心樹

上學期在和小朋友分享 Shel Silverstein 的 The Crocodile's Toothache 時，提到他另一本很有名的繪本作品 The Giving Tree（愛心樹），發現竟然有很多小朋友沒讀過這本書，覺得真是太可惜了。在 youtube 上找到下面這支英文的繪本影片，希望有時間跟小朋友們一起讀一讀。

Happy Lantern Festival! 元宵節快樂！

農曆正月十五元宵節，是傳統習俗春節的最後一天，有「小過年」之稱。
因為習俗上大家會在元宵節提掛燈籠，所以英文就以 Lantern Festival (燈籠節) 來稱呼元宵節。

其實在台灣，元宵節的活動不只是提掛燈籠，花樣可多呢！今年就有在苗栗舉辦的台灣燈會、台北燈節、高雄燈會、台北平溪天燈節、苗栗（火旁）龍、台南鹽水蜂炮、台東炸寒單等系列活動，熱鬧滾滾！


Youtube 上有支影片 Taiwan Lantern Festival 是2009年台灣元宵系列活動的紀錄，我覺得真的很不錯，鏡頭美音樂讚，把台灣元宵節拍得熱鬧好玩極了，去看一看吧！
